A daunting and often provoking thought for parents reveals trepidation when the possibility of rejection stems from their own children. For me, this is the ‘here and now’ of my life.
As a dedicated and loving father, I sometimes wonder what the future holds for the incredible relationship that I now have with my 8-year-old son. In particular, will he accept me once I tell him about my sexual preference?
I believe my initial coming out is an extraordinary gift that I had been given and hope to share this news with my son soon.
