As many of you know, Mattel has recalled 9 million toys – Yes, 9 MILLION!
According to CNN’s article: ‘Some of the recalled toys have magnets that can become dislodged and swallowed, and at least one has hazardous levels of lead in its paint.’
The toys being recalled range from Barbie to Polly Pockets to Cars!

As a parent, this is very frightening! How many of us have witnessed our very own children sticking toys in their mouths? It’s natural – They do it!
However, as a toy maker; they should be held accountable for the products they sell. With that said, there needs to be more ‘checks’ in place to ensure the items they sell are safe. Yes, we understand that accidents happen. But, what is it going to take for these big companies to simply take the time to test these products?
